Tim Herriage is the Chief Executive Officer of Ternus, Inc., a fast-growing national real estate finance company built by investors, for investors. With more than two decades of leadership in real estate investment, private lending, and capital markets, Herriage has been directly involved in over $8 billion in real estate transactions and has acquired nearly 2,000 properties over the course of his career.

Widely recognized as a pioneer in the real estate investment and private lending industries, Herriage has built, scaled, and exited multiple companies. Before founding Ternus, he was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Blackstone’s B2R Finance, which became Finance of America Commercial and went public in 2021 as part of Finance of America Companies. Herriage also served as Executive Director at RCN Capital, where he helped lead the firm’s national expansion into one of the leading lenders for real estate investors.

An entrepreneur at heart, Herriage founded the REI Expo, which grew into the largest real estate investor trade show in the United States before being acquired by Think Realty. Earlier in his career, he served as a Development Agent for HomeVestors® of America, where he managed and supported dozens of franchisees nationwide while operating one of the company’s top-performing offices.
